Some multi-layered mouthguards have been found to be thick, bulky, and uncomfortable. They interfere with the tongue; restricting breathing, and inhibiting speech. Our high heat pressure lamination technology controls layer thickness and provides multi-layers where they are needed most… between the chewing surfaces of the upper and lower teeth, not between the teeth and the tongue.


In addition to multi-layered protection, our Streamline Design provides a unique single layer on the inner surfaces of the teeth without interfering with the tongue. This provides ease of breathing for maximum oxygen intake, uninhibited speech for clear communication on the field, and maximum comfort for minimal distraction; only available on the Defender Varsity ™ and Defender Pro ™.
